I can think better, I can think clearly, and I see things more clearly, and understand them more clearly.

The biggest surprise I guess was, all of a sudden my weight was under control, where it was never under control all my life. I had been on a lot of diets, including the Atkins diet, and many other diets where I would feast and starve. I changed my lifestyle, changed what I was eating, and the pounds just came off, so I just let them come off.

It also helped me to be more..., I mean just down to earth, and not to be so stressful all the time. And I do sleep better.

My mood is a lot better. I feel real light and bright, and not so worn down and tired and exhausted.

The recipes were so easy to fix that anybody who has no cooking skills, or even knows how to use a knife or a spoon, can make these foods. They're so simple.

The food is delicious! I actually sometimes when you look at vegetarian recipes you think your going to be punished for trying to eat a healthy diet, but it really does taste good... really, really good.

I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it. It was not what I had expected. I think I was coming in thinking... I'm going to get lectured on, you know, be a vegetarian, don't eat meat, but that's not what it was. It was more for the sake of my health.

Definitely come and try it out. If they're in doubt, all they need to do is come and try the food that they make here. That right there says it all. I mean I go back for seconds, sometimes thirds every time I come! It's good!

It just is so beneficial. You can't imagine the change that can be made in your life, not only your health, but your spiritual health as well.

I haven't had to take Tums this week at all. Usually I have to take Tums at least twice a week, but I have not had to do that because of my diet change.

NATASHA
I've been more focused on me and my boys. I've been feeling a whole lot better.

...Not only that, but as I went on I began feeling more energy, sleeping better at night, and at the end of a week and a half, I have lost 5 pounds. Something I haven't been able to do for a long time.

Well I think my memory's better. I've had a little trouble with that, but...

I used to be the PMS queen, and now that all is really level, especially if I exercise.

The simplicity of this book is fabulous. The details are great, and yet if you want to look at the literature, in the back of the book there is a listing of all the journals. So it provides the scientific data that backs up the recommendations and it's great. It works for me and if your interested, it will work for you.

Oh, I was so tired, and so down, and just coming here tonight had just made me feel like going home and starting right in. I bought three cookbooks, I've got the tapes, I can listen to it again, I can read my cookbooks, start my recipes, start my cooking, and I'm very, very excited about it all.

I lost weight, and you may even think better, and think clearer, and sleep better, and wouldn't you like to sleep like a little baby at night like you used to when you were a little girl? I'am. I'm sure that there's a lot of good things to do, but are you getting results? What I'm seeing is we're building relationships in our community, people are excited, they appreciate what we're doing, they thank us... it's a real "fill our love cup" kind of thing too. And we're getting results.

Well I think if you are concerned about people, and their health, this is the best way to go.

The comments that I've heard from people who have attended the seminar have been that they've enjoyed the seminar, they enjoy the food, and the recipes. They really like the books. They feel that the books are very colorful, easy to read, opinion based in regards to applying it to their lives, and just very applicable.

In Ithaca we had 46 on opening night with 14 of those being community guests, and then next night, we've done two nights there, we had 6 new people come, which is really exciting. I think four of those were men.

I really appreciated the format of the program. It has enough variety, and balance, and also very practical and yet very professional. And the lay leaders were just able to adapt it accordingly to what they want to present.

The recipes were very easy. I think that even the people that took them home, were trying them at home, and were very happy and pleased with how easy the recipes were.

Because the foods weren't extravagant, they weren't expensive. There were things that you could go to any store and buy, and not only was it simple, the taste were so good of the dishes.

In one of the group sessions I was in, in the first meeting, one of the people from the community said, "you know, these meetings are so good, I'm going to go home and invite everybody I know to come here, and if they can't pay, I'll pay for them.

They were coming up going, "Can we get more of these cook books? Can we get more of them? These are great! We want to be able to give them for Christmas gifts and stuff."

A lot of the people are saying that the $25 is inexpensive compared to what they're getting.

MARILYN
It has been so exciting! This program has done something that I've not seen other programs accomplish.

TAMMY
My first response was, "I can't do this, I'm too nervous." And when I got there and they had everything written out for me, word by word, what I needed to say, there were really neat visuals to be able to show the people, and everything was done for us. All the materials, the handouts, everything was so easy.

PAULA
What I liked best was that the plan was already spelled out in the kit. We didn't have to do much thinking. It was all planned for you, telling you exactly what to do and when.

VALERIE
It's nice to have it all just written out for you. The presentations are easy to do because the visuals are there. You've got handouts to prompt you; it's just been really a fun program to work with.

TAMMY
And the one thing I really love about this is it's not a condemning, judgmental way. It's telling people; you can have energy, have a better quality of life. It's not telling them, you can't eat this, and don't do that. It's all positive, and that been a tremendous thing, and that's something I can get excited about being a part of.
